Doula support

Your support options include trained labor and birth doulas, new mother care doulas (postpartum), and new baby support.  Doulas can also support breastfeeding families, sleep and feeding routines and help keep the household running smoothly.  Our support is founded on up-to-date evidence-based information.

Labor and birth support

Traditional comfort techniques like positions for labor and birth, breath work and hands-on support. 

 

Prenatal meetings to understand your concerns and help you prepare for your birth. 

 

Special emphasis on preparing families for the transition at home with a new baby including newborn care education and basic breastfeeding support.

Mother care (postpartum doula)

Our doulas know that relieving parents of distracting tasks to enjoy bonding with their baby is essential.

 

We have found over the years that the best way to take care of the family is to take great care of the mother. 

 

We come to "mother the mother" so that healing is possible.  This often includes new baby support so that parents can rest.
